    Misting The Dogs Manually

When we are not using one of my automatic misting bikes or electric DogSleds on wheels and temps are warm (not too hot as we don’t take the dogs if it’s too hot) we will carry a water misting sprayer with us! This provides us the capability of spraying the dog’s paw pads and creating puddles of water for them to submerge their paw pads in because dogs sweat from their paw pads and this is a very effective way to help cool them! If there’s low humidity, we will also mist their fur with water so it can quickly evaporate off of them which I believe helps cool them also! But again, as I mentioned throughout this website, if it’s too humid outside, misting the dogs fur can work in reverse and be very dangerous because it can’t evaporate off them quickly enough to cool them, but will actually create almost a blanket like effect and trap more heat in them which could cause them to overheat which can be fatal! So please understand proper conditions for misting their fur. Below our videos on how we do it!
