One of the biggest hindrances to Dogs is their inability to deal with heat. With cold weather working breeds like Huskies, this becomes a major problem. Most people smartly will not work their Dogs in the warmer months as there are too many risks involved. But again, as I like to think outside the box, I have pioneered some ways like these creative MISTING SYSTEMS to help my Dogs keep in shape and stay active in the warmer weather months. KEEP IN MIND there are many factors as I mentioned on the HOME PAGE of this website that can determine how effective if at all these misting systems are at any given time! Aspects like humidity, Dog's hair (fur coat), Dog's age & condition etc.. can and will determine effectiveness as it's posssible for those that don't understand all the factors then my methods could make it worse for your Dog! I share this to inspire others as I know what I do works for me but doesn't mean it will work for you. I always suggest consulting with a VETERINARIAN and other EXPERTS regarding your Dog, Breed, etc..
My first MISTING SYSTEM circa 2000 was outfitted on a SACCO CART and it worked wonderful! Below are some pictures of how I implemented it! Back in the day I didn't have A WooFDriver PIT CREW so I did it all myself! You'll notice each SACCO CART TOW BARhas water lines and misting 2 nozzles to mist the Dogs as they run. One nozzle;e is aimed to mist the underside of each Dog and the other nozzle is aimed to mist the top of the Dog as they run/trot/walk.
IF THIS SACCO CART LOOKS A BIT DIFFERENT IT IS! IN ADDITION TO THE MISTING SYSTEM, WOOFDRIVER CUSTOMIZED SO HE COUD WORK 3 DOGS AT ONCE WITHOUT MAKING IT LONGER! YOU CAN SEE HIS SACCO CART CUSTOM BUILDS BY CLICKING HERE
With the addition of WooFDriver's First Electric Tandem Trike (he named THE LOW RYDER) and the beginning of WooFDriver pioneering DogMotoSports he took his misting system idea from his Sacco Cart and outfitted the new Tandem Trike with the same concept!
WITH THIS TANDEM TRIKE (THE LOW RYDER) IN ADDITION TO THE MISTING SYSTEM CUSTOMIZATION THERE WERE MODIFICATIONS MADE TO RUN THE DOGS IN DIFFERENT CONFIGURATIONS! CLICK HERE TOO SEE MORE ABOUT WOOFDRIVER'S LOW RYDER BUILD
